JP Art Gallery: Summer Exhibition 2015

Hot from our artists’ studios, imagine being overwhelmed by colour and intoxicated by the aroma of recently painted oils on canvas. It’s our Summer Exhibition which runs until the end of August. And we are quite sure that we won’t disappoint.

A truly exciting collection of artworks by some of the leading, most talented emerging artists from the UK and recently Paris. Here’s just a glimpse:

Artist Bruce Williams

Lizzie Watson creates London Crowd Scenes dribble painting from the air using chopsticks.  ‘’Figures interact in a space with those wild strings disappearing off into the ether, connected to something else, who knows where’’

Artist: Lizzie Watson

Victoria Kiff’s paintings are figurative with the complexities and elements of landscape. There is a sense of the narrative and visual imaginings arranged within a sensorial composition. The figures are landscapes of the nervous system with raw yet sensitive emotion that often form a deeply affecting portrait. Paintings are created in oil aided with various mediums that allow fluidity and heavy surface texture. Imagination and personal content fuels the emotion of the painting, although distant and subconscious.

Artist: Victoria Kiff
